5 home trends we are loving
Interiors trends straight from the ‘gram that we would love to add to our lives!
We can be indecisive when it comes to interiors…the truth is there are just too many great styles and trends to choose from. With social media (Instagram being the main culprit) being the daily norm nowadays, we’re constantly seeing all of the trends, all of the time, wishing we could pull off all of them.
Having to pick just one seems impossible, trying to find your own ‘style’ and not necessarily having to stick to a trend is usually the way to go, but when there’s inspiration as beautiful as the stuff we’re about to show you going around, it’s hard not to give into the temptation to switch up our space just about every week!
We’ve picked out our top five interior trends that we keep seeing on our scroll, including some of our favourite creators and how we’d style a locker for that trend too. Maybe there is one trend that is totally your style, maybe you’re a mix of all of them, but we hope you find some inspiration in this list and love lusting after these beautiful interiors as much as we do!
Pastel
Pastel Style Icon: @honeyidressedthepug
Core Colours: Lilac, Blush, Ocean, Sage
Ethos: Keep it light, bright, pretty and pastel!
Ice cream dreams, that’s the pastel colours trend right? We see the ‘pastel’ trend as a fine balance somewhere between minimalism and dopamine decor. Pops of playful pastels, a feature wall here and there with thoughtfully chosen accessories.

Barbiecore
Barbiecore Style Icon: @picsfromcandice
Ethos: Think Barbie’s dream house then step it up a notch!
This is a recent trend that we are very much on board with! With the release of the new Barbie movie featuring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling coming up in 2022, we are seeing Barbie’s inspo everywhere, especially in the interiors world. Our opinion? There’s no such thing as too much pink!
Coastal Calm
Coastal Calm Style Icon: @littleneedham
Ethos: Bring the beach indoors
We love a calm, neutral space that brings the coastal vibes inside and is just super peaceful to look at. This trend is all about the beachy vibes, soft blues (hey Ocean!) and lots and lots of natural light, for that cool and calm by-the-seaside feel. The Shorty in Navy + Ocean Mustard Made | The Lowdown in Ocean Mustard Made | Pray For Surf Art Print Little Peach and Pip | The Shorty in White Mustard Made | Holdie™ House Olliella | The Ocean Is Calling Me Banner Happy Sunday Studio | Pillow Sheet Society | The Hangers Mustard Made
Earthy

Core Colours: Olive, Sage + Slate
Ethos: You can never have too many plants!
Lots of greens, earthy neutrals, mixed textures, timbers and plants! It is super cosy and feels like bringing the outside in. An earthy inspired interior is all abut shades that blend with nature, creating a calm and grounded colour scheme. Did we say plants?!

Minimalist
Minimalist Style Icon: @thecrapflat
Ethos: Too cool for clutter
Minimalist doesn’t have to mean boring, it can be super cool and all white like Emma’s lovely office, or it can be a neutral space with small pops of colour, but not too much going on. Peaceful spaces, carefully curated, is how we see minimalism.
