Think Pink - Styling Blush + Berry
Pink is a big part of who we are here at Mustard. Don’t let our name fool you! There’s a special place in our heart for each and every colour in our rainbow, and our two beautiful shades of pink, Blush and Berry, are definitely no exception.
Blush, our pretty pale pink, was one of the first colours we were absolutely certain we needed in our locker lineup and it has been a staple ever since. Berry joined the family in 2019 and added a pop of bold yet warm pink to fit in perfectly with our other shades.
Together, these two tones make one pretty perfect pair!
We have loved finding new ways to add pink into our own homes. We’re big fans of these two, let us tell you! Pink can be bold but you will be surprised how many colour palettes these two work with and how many spaces they fit into oh-so-well!
Dining Room
Who doesn’t need more storage space? We have styled a gradient of Midis in White, Blush and Berry to add a pop of colour to this dining room setup. This trio looks beautiful and you can use them to store all of your fancy crockery (for special occasions only!), your cocktail making supplies or they can double up as extra pantry space!
Living Room
What a view for when you are chilling on your sofa! The Lowdown makes a great addition to any living room because she is super spacious and makes a great TV unit too! Here, we have styled The Lowdown in Blush and The Skinny in Blush to showcase this awesome print by Xander Holliday, which incorporates our tones of pink but also Lilac, Mustard, reds, oranges and neutrals. These two are pretty versatile, y'know!
Workspace
To create a pretty and practical workspace, you can use a combo of Blush + Berry with a soft neutral, White colour scheme. Bring in inspiration by adding objects you love, dreamy artwork and fresh flowers always add some joy to any space. Our lockers have a beautiful smooth matte finish so this chair from one of our awesome stockists Life Interiors is a lovely contrast with the metallic base and a cosy boucle texture.
Kids Bedroom
Blush and Berry are a pretty sweet pair! Mix or match them as bedside tables to add an accent colour to your space. The Shorty in Blush + Berry can make great companions for kids rooms, but are sophisticated enough for grown-ups too. Laying tones of the same colour brings depth to a room and keeps the space feeling cohesive. We also picked out the Mustard from this cute little Jackie Anderson painting as an accent colour for the pinks and ran with it!
Adults Bedroom
Another way to use Blush and Berry is to pick one as your feature and one as your accent colour. In this room, we styled The Twinny in Berry with a matching berry coloured panelled wall. The Blush Shorty to the Left pops and ties together the pinks from the patterned bed linen. It’s a bold look but the limited colour palette makes it feel calm and grown up!
Nursery
Our favourite, classic way to use Blush and Berry into a space. Use a trio of Skinny’s for maximum storage and a beautiful addition to neutral or bright colour palettes! There’s just something so aesthtically pleasing about an ombre wall of colours that we will never get bored of.
These shades are totally all-arounders and can bring a burst of colour into any space. Add in the versatility of our lockers and that’s a match made in heaven, if we do say so ourselves!
