When it came time to plan our Pride celebrations this year, we wanted to bring to life the iconic rainbow as an emblem for love, equality, inclusion and resistance for the LGBTIQ+ community. So, we've built our very own rainbow locker. We are donating 50% of sales of every Rainbow Standard to Outright International to help build a more inclusive world. There's one question we're asked more than any other: 'How on earth am I meant to choose a colour?' With twelve beautiful shades in the Mustard rainbow, we know we don't make it easy. So why not have them all at once? Meet The Rainbow Standard, a super duper limited edition release, featuring 10 Mustard colours in one beautiful longline locker.

If you've been here a while, you might remember the one-of-a-kind Rainbow Midi we created for Pride Month in 2023. We were blown away by the response (and the number of DMs begging us to release more!) When we realised our community loved rainbows as much as we did, we knew we had to come up with something extra special.

We dreamed up The Rainbow Standard to do good: she's a locker of love, made to give. We're donating 50% of the sales of every Rainbow Standard to the charity Outright International.
Outright do really important work. Founded in 1990, Outright is dedicated to working with partners around the globe to strengthen the capacity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, and queer (LGBTIQ) human rights movement, document and amplify human rights violations against LGBTIQ people, and advocate for inclusion and equality. We're really thrilled to be able to partner with Outright on a locker that not only looks good, but does good too.

When we say The Rainbow Standard is limited edition, we mean it: we have already sold out! We have opened a round of pre-orders so get in quick if you've got your eye on one!
Every purchase of a Rainbow Standard will contribute to Outright's incredible work. They've told us they'll put these funds towards activities such as:
- Provide a grant to cover the cost of internet for a global LGBTIQ community centre
- Offer capacity-building support for human rights defenders on gender inclusivity
- Plan the travel of LGBTIQ activists to the United Nations to advocate for the human rights of LGBTIQ people
- Conduct local LGBTIQ sensitivity training for media journalists, law enforcement agents, or medical providers
- Subsidise safe housing to LGBTIQ people in need
- Build a body of knowledge and evidence on global conversion practices
- Facilitate litigation strategies and lobbying to obtain legal gender recognition services for the global trans and gender-diverse community
- Mentor LBQ activists to strengthen regional coalition-building, identify research gaps, and raise awareness about LBQ issues
Pretty amazing, right? Giving back has always been a part of Mustard's mission (that's why we donate to Beam every single month) but this project has really been a labour of love.

It's not a party without some friends to share it with! Luckily, our friends Josh + Matt know how to celebrate. These two colourful creators were the perfect people to help us give The Rainbow Standard the launch she deserved. We got together for a building session and we haven't laughed so much in a very long time. Watch the video for a chuckle!
