I am very bad with flat packs, but managed to get the locker together without too much bad language, and quite quickly. It looks good and functions well. My only suggestion - not a complaint - is that it might be useful to be able to select whether shelves are required and if so how many. I use my locker for extra hanging space so have surplus shelves I can’t use. It seems a bit of a waste that could be avoided if the option to buy with no or fewer shelves was available.

I don't have any built-ins or too many spare linen cupboards as I live in a small sharehouse, but this locker has proven to be so wonderful with holding all my towels, heavy jackets, books, skincare products and additional bits and bobs! Was very easy to put together with two people (I needed a tall friend to help as I'm much shorter than the locker), and the instructions were straightforward for someone who's not particularly handy. Also got during a sale, so highly recommend :)

We've designed our lockers to be beautifully simple to put together. All you need is one crosshead screwdriver for the handles. The rest just slots into place!

How much weight can you put on the shelves and the top?
The steel we use for the lockers is nice and sturdy.
In The Skinny, each shelf can hold up to 20kg.
On top of The Skinny, our recommended weight limit is 50kg. For The Skinny, we recommend being careful with what you put on top, just in case it falls off!
Each locker also comes with wall plugs and screws, with wall attachment points in the back to fix it to the wall for extra stability.
What do the colours look like in real life?
We get it, it's tricky to tell from the photos.
That's why we offer colour swatches so you can see the colour in real life before you pick. You can order as many colour swatches as you like!
Do the lockers arrive flat-packed or assembled?
Your locker will arrive flat packed but don't worry, putting them together is easy! Trust us!
Mustard lockers are smartly designed to be nice and simple to assemble.
You'll find your instructions inside the box and we have super helpful how-to videos that walk you through the build step-by-step. You only need a screwdriver to attach the handle, no other tools required!

Can the door open the other way?
The Skinny only comes with the door opening to the right. Because of the holes for the lock and handle, it cannot be changed to open the other way.
